Competing in the Maley Youth D category 10-year-old Aaron Tresidder made it to the final where he finished sixth and became the Scottish Champion for his category due to the first five placed climbers not being from Scotland.
Shona Knight, age 13, competed in the Female Youth B category and finished 31st out of 36 after a very tough competition.
The event is one of the most popular youth competitions in the UK attracting close to 200 participants.
Speaking after the competition both Aaron and Shona said that irrespective of the results they both had a whole lot of fun.
Both are part of the Three Wise Monkeys youth programme and coach Jack Davis said: 'Aaron is very dedicated and has a brilliantly methodical approach to his climbing.
'I have worked closely with him over the last year or so and can safely say he really has earned his place at the Scottish Champion.
'Shona has great ambition and even through her quietness you can see there is a very strong drive motivating her.
'I've not worked with her a whole lot yet but I know from Muir Mcloughlan - one of our other coaches who has worked with her a lot - that she is someone that is not only motivated to push her own climbing but also has a great team spirit, helping to motivate and support those around her to push themselves.'
Jack also mentioned the fantastic support Aaron and Shona receive from their parents, with James (Shona's Dad) even sacrificing his birthday celebrations to take her down to the competition.
