Aldi in Oban have taken a popular party food off its shelves after an ingredient that could make people seriously unwell was left off the list of ingredients on the packaging.
Aldi’s Let’s Party Vegetable Bao Buns have been recalled after a mistake meant some products may contain an undeclared allergen, namely sesame and duck meat, which are not listed on the box.
Experts say these may present a health risk to anyone with a sesame allergy.
A spokesperson said: "All examples of the product should be returned to the store for a full refund. People should not consume it.
"We’ve removed them from sale in all stores."
