The incident took place around 3.50pm on Thursday June 1 and involved a Peugeot 308 and a lorry.
The 37-year-old male driver of the car was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow, with serious injuries.
Two children in the car – aged 6 and 10 – were taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness with minor injuries. The 49-year-old male driver of the lorry also sustained minor injuries.
The road was closed until around 1am on Friday June 2.
Further enquiries into the crash remain ongoing and officers are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
Sergeant Ally MacKay, from the Dingwall Road Policing Unit, said: “As we work to establish the full circumstances surrounding this incident, we ask anyone who was on that stretch of road and either witnessed the crash or either of the vehicles beforehand to please contact police.
“We are also keen to hear from any motorists who may have potential dashcam footage.”
