Brodick Golf Club
Saturday February 8, AGA Winter League/Duncan Trophy. Round four of this rescheduled fixture saw some closely contested games, with Shiskine securing a 2-0 win over Lamlash, while Brodick, Corrie, Whiting Bay and Machrie battled to well-deserved 1-1 draws. The current league standings are: 1 Corrie, 7 points; 2 Brodick, 5 points; 3 Shiskine, 4 points; 4 Machrie, 3 points; 5 Whiting Bay, 3 points; 6 Lamlash, 2 points.
A Brodick Golf Club spokesperson said: “A huge thank you to Tam and Robbie for keeping the course, especially the greens, in fantastic condition despite the time of year. Thanks also to Marene for the post-round soup and sandwiches. They were much appreciated after a chilly morning on the course.”
