Mum Gemma Campbell is hosting the event at Oban Pipe Band Hall in Shore Street from 11am to 1pm hoping to raise £500 as a thank you to the National Deaf Children's Society (NDCS), which has been helping her son, Ashton.
The charity has been funding all their family to learn basic British Sign Language and in return Gemma has come up with the idea of the bake sale to show appreciation.
People can help by spreading the word about the sale, baking for the day, buying at the event or giving a donation online at justgiving.com/fundraising/jemma-campbell1
Money raised will help the NDCS continue to support all of the 50,000 deaf children and their families across the UK whenever they need it.
