Mid Argyll Triathlon and Cycle Club held a ‘Beaver bash duathlon’ as its first club event for 2025.
Members were hosted by Heart of Argyll Wildlife at the Beaver Centre at Barrandaimh near Bellanoch.
The bash had a 1.5-mile run, six-mile cycle and an under-a-mile run to finish, around the trails and roads near the centre.
President Colin MacFarlane said: “We organise a series of winter duathlons for club members, which are great for fitness, socialising and enjoying the outdoors.
"The duathlons, which are training events not races, can be done individually or as part of a team, take approximately an hour to complete and always conclude with cake!”
Club Membership is open to adults with any level of fitness and abilities:Via EntryCentral:
“It costs £20 for the year and allows you to join in the various training activities for the year, whether that be cycling, swimming, running or all three,” said Colin.
“We organise Duathlons, time trials for cycling and running, swim training, social events and local events such as the Mid Argyll Triathlon.”
The next one will be on February 2, with the location to be confirmed.
