People from across Kintyre turned out in force for two bonfire night celebrations last weekend.
Carradale kicked off the fun with a well-attended bonfire at Wellpark on Saturday evening.
Volunteers sold burgers, hot dogs, soup and other refreshments, with the £366 raised being donated towards the upkeep of the village’s playpark which is due to reopen soon following renovations.
On Sunday evening, crowds flocked to Southend for a bonfire and fireworks display at the village sports field.
Soup, hot dogs and ‘parkin pigs’ were on offer at the event organised by Southend Community Council, with glow sticks adding a touch of extra sparkle to the occasion.
