Campbeltown Library was packed on Wednesday November 20 when acclaimed author Lin Anderson unveiled some of the secrets to successful crime writing.
As part of the library’s Book Week Scotland celebrations, the author, who is best known for her gripping Rhona MacLeod series, shared with the audience tips on masterful storytelling.
She also provided an insight into her intense research journey and shone a light on the incredible individuals who have supported her through her writing odyssey, including teaming up with forensic experts to explore the interplay between fact and fiction.
Library supervisor Tracey Muscroft said: “Lin was amazing and we would like to thank everyone who came for attending our Scottish Book Trust event on such a cold wintry night.
“It was a great success, and Lin really enjoyed visiting the Wee Toon and is hoping to be able to make a return visit.”
Next up on the library’s events calendar is a wreath-making session on Tuesday December 10, from 2pm-3.30pm.
Those interested in taking part can book through the library and are asked to note that numbers are limited.
While the event is free, donations will be welcome.
