Members of RBLS Campbeltown Branch and volunteers collected for this year’s Poppy Appeal in Tesco and the Co-op.
Every donation big or small helps support programmes and resources for military families and veterans.
RBLS Campbeltown branch would like to thank Tesco and the Co-op for letting it collect in store and all those who have kindly donated to this year’s appeal.
Poppy Scotland provides support for current and former members of the Armed Forces as well as their families. This support, is in recognition of their sacrifices and service.
The charity has helped countless men, women and families with issues linked to their time in the Armed Forces or with struggles adjusting from military to civilian life.
It even helps with needs that have arisen long after someone has left the Armed Forces.
Whenever, wherever support is needed, it is there.
RBLS Campbeltown Branch will hold a two-minute silence at the memorial at 11am on Sunday November 13.
Anyone wishing to lay an official wreath at the memorial should make themselves known to George Rahman, chairman of Legion Scotland Campbeltown Branch, and be at the War Memorial at 10.30am for a briefing.
