Kintyre Care Centre was alive with the sound of bagpipes and the aroma of haggis, neeps and tatties as staff and residents celebrated Rabbie Burns Day.
As well as the traditional Burns Supper fare, meatballs were also on the menu, followed by a Cranachan dessert at the gathering on Thursday January 25.
“Our haggis was piped in by a very talented piper from Campbeltown Grammar School, Arran Brown,” said senior wellbeing coordinator Susan Ellis.
“Arran had everyone clapping their hands and tapping their feet – he even had our Anna Viola on her feet and dancing with our deputy manager Maree Townsend.
“Everyone enjoyed a wonderful meal and we are very grateful to Arran for taking time out of his busy school day to share his wonderful piping skills with us.”
