Celebrating Scottish authors, poets, playwrights, storytellers and illustrators, Book Week Scotland is supported by Creative Scotland and the Scottish Library and Information Council and brings together a packed programme of events and projects.
To join in the celebrations, liveArgyll will be hosting renowned Scottish crime writing author Chris Brookmyre as he tours Argyll, visiting Campbeltown, Dunoon and Lochgilphead Libraries.
Full of humour – and with possibly a few sweary words – Brookmyre will be chatting about his life as an author and his life experiences.
There will of course be conversation about his books including the recently published The Cliff House.
It would be a crime to miss it. Catch Chris Brookmyre at Lochgilphead Library on Wednesday November 16 at 7pm.
Tickets are £9 or £6 for library members – they can be bought online at liveargyll.co.uk/whats-on.
Library membership is free for all; people can register by visiting their local branch or online at liveargyll.co.uk/facilities/libraries.
