Firefighter colleagues of three-year-old Ashton Matthews's mum Jemma Campbell were just some of the people who turned up to swap coins for cakes at the Pipe Band Hall in Shore Street on Sunday.
Trade was brisk for Jemma and her army of helpers and bakers - boosted by a donation of goodies leftover from Dunbeg school's spring fair the day before.
'Thank you to every one for showing such support,' said Jemma.
The sale on the day made £530 plus £190 and rising from the family's Justgiving page at justgiving.com/fundraising/jemma-campbell1
The bake sale was organised as a thank you to the charity for funding Ashton's family members to learn basic British Sign Language.
