The Maid of Glencoul was withdrawn from the Ardgour-Corran Highland Council operated service on Saturday due to a technical fault with the 48-year-old vessel's steering.
A passenger only service from Fort William to Ardgour has been implemented as an engineer works to solve the issue, with an update on vehicular sailings expected on Monday.

This leaves drivers travelling to Morvern and the Ardnamurchan Peninsula with a 41-mile diversion.
Last week the Oban Times reported that users of the Corran Ferry are calling for an inquiry, free travel on the service and compensation after facing significant disruption in recent months.
The larger and newer MV Corran has yet to return after leaving for her annual overhaul in October 2022, with Scotland's busiest single vessel route dependent on the Maid of Glencoul.
Highland Council have been approached for comment, with the Maid of Glencoul reportedly undergoing sea trials at the time of writing.
