Fort William and Ardnamurchan Councillor Sarah Fanet presented a welcome plaque to Captain Mindaugas Oginskas of the World Voyage cruise ship on its maiden visit to Loch Linnhe.
They were joined by a party from Fort William Marina & Shoreline Community Interest Company who have co-ordinated the visits of all the ships throughout the summer season and have made sure all the facilities needed for a successful visit have been provided.
While it was World Voyager’s first visit, she was also the last vessel scheduled to arrive this year, enjoying clear, sunny weather and beautiful views from the loch while many of her passengers set off on bus tours to various locations or took the opportunity to visit the High Street.
