Dalmally Golf Club concluded another successful season - despite the weather - with a social evening and prizegiving.
A total of 24 competitions were closely contested.
Captain Graeme MacKechnie won the Gross Club Championship and Phil Hemmings won the handicap competition, adding to two other competitions he won during the year.
Rhys Cooke won two competitions and was the most improved player leading to a well-deserved cut in his handicap.
Ladies’ competitions were won by Maud Marshall and Lesley Stone.
During the season, Dalmally members were pleased to welcome players from other clubs including Glencruitten, Taynuilt, Lochgilphead, Isle of Seil and further afield to its open competitions. Both opens were won by visitors from these clubs.
Feedback about the welcome and hospitality at Dalmally Golf Club continues to be positive.
Dalmally members were also pleased to welcome many individual visitors and enjoyed club outings to Isle of Seil and Craignure.
Members are now looking forward to 2025 and would welcome visitors and new members.
Beginners are welcome to go along and try the game. For further details, contact the club at dalmallygolfclub@outlook.com.
