Organised by West Highland Darts and hosted by top sports MC Paul Booth, the evening saw amateur players from all over, including one who travelled from Tiree, step up to the oche in a bid to outplay the pros who also took time to chat to members of the audience and sign autographs.

Among those to beat Thornton was young Oban darts league player Keegan McPhee whose celebrations after checking out on a bullseye brought rapturous applause from the audience.
"It wasn't a route I would normally go but I hit single five and had to go single 17 then the bull as Robert was on a single dart finish," he told The Oban Times.
"I hit the five and Robert whispered in my ear, 17-bull. The crowd were egging me on to go for it and I couldn't let the fans down.
"When that dart sailed into the bull there wasn't a better feeling."
Among the other winners on the night were: Scott Paterson, Isle of Mull darts team who beat pro Robert Thornton twice; Adam Brook, current Oban darts league champion who beat Alan Soutar; Ron MacLean, current Oban darts league runner up who beat Alan Soutar; John Nelson, TDO darts player, Fort William, who beat Robert Thornton;
Kieran Anderson, from Aberfeldy in Perthshire who beat Robert Thornton, and Murray Ross, from Aberfeldy, who beat Robert Thornton.
Speaking to The Oban Times earlier this week, West Highland Darts founder and owner Ross Tough said: "It was a fantastic evening and I have had a really positive response following the event and heartening messages on Saturday.
"Thanks to everyone who came out to support the event. Both players and MC Paul were complimentary about the welcome they received and said they really enjoyed putting on a show for everyone.
"Thanks also to The View management and staff for being extremely accommodating with us and for their hospitality to all the guests on the night."
MC Paul Booth commented: "I've been all over the UK doing darts exhibitions and this is the most picturesque venue [The View] I have ever worked at."
