A woman has admitted drug dealing charges after police raided a house in Lochaber and found over 1.5 kilos of cannabis.
Fiscal depute Emily Hood told Inverness Sheriff Court this week that a search warrant had been obtained for the property in Mackenzie Court, Caol, and executed on July 22, 2022.
The court heard that the occupant was Keirein Morrison, who immediately admitted that she had the Class B drug.
Ms Hood said: "A quantity of cash and herbal substance was found and also some paperwork which could be described as a tick list. In total 1,589 grams of cannabis was recovered with a value of between £15,896 and £23,844, as well as £4,500 in cash."
Morrison, whose lawyer Natalie Paterson said she was now living in Glenalmond Street in Glasgow, pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of drugs. She also admitted previous convictions.
Sheriff Gary Aitken deferred sentence until March 18 for a background report and allowed Morrison’s bail to be continued. Ms Paterson said she would reserve her plea in mitigation until then.
