Family members and friends can also join the four-week Living Well with Sight Loss course being run by national sight loss charity RNIB Scotland.
Starting in September, the course covers topics from understanding benefits to staying independent. There will also be tips and help about gadgets for everyday living, eye health, hobbies and interests, and other organisations and services that can give support.
'You will receive practical advice, information and guidance on organisations, products and services that can help you,' said organiser Richard Craig. 'You can also learn from each other's experiences and share top tips. But it is important anyone interested books a place.'
The course will run on Thursdays from September 15 to October 6, from 10.30am till noon as part of the Need to Talk project, run by RNIB in western Scotland.
