The arrival of daffodils signals the start of spring, bringing longer days and warmer weather. For many of us, spring is our favourite season, with trees and flowers starting to bloom and clear, bright skies enticing us to spend more time outdoors. Children love the transition to sunnier weather as much as adults do, particularly when they get two weeks off school to enjoy it! And, thankfully, here on Arran, there are plenty of activities to keep the children and adults- entertained during the spring holidays, which start today (Friday).
So expect the island to get busier next week, as Easter weekend is the traditional start of the summer season.
There are lots of exciting Easter events happening, so be sure to keep an eye out for them.
