From near and far landscapes to landmarks, from wildlife moments to the more quirky, here is a selection of some of its members favourite shots.

The club's Maurice Wilkins writes: 'The only qualification required for membership is enthusiasm! Our members enjoy taking photographs and showing them to others.
'We also enjoy learning from those with more experience and teaching those who have less.
'Equipment is irrelevant – whether you have the most expensive digital camera on the market, a simple point and shoot, or a mobile phone, you’re equally welcome to join us for a season of fun. We have practical evenings, competitions, travelogues, instructional talks, model evenings, outings and not least, tea, biscuits and a good chat!'
All of these kindly contributed photographs are the copyright of the individual photographers and must not be used elsewhere without their permission.
Audrey Peddie's 'I have my eye on you' was taken as part of a documentary project recording the Scottish Fishing industry.
She said: 'The image was taken at a fish shed in St Monans, it is actually fish scales that are on his hat. This was taken outside on his fag break, the character was acting for the camera as he found it amusing, a distraction for another mundane day at work.'

Donna Wielbo caught a little piece of mediaeval magic on her camera when she visited Rodel Church on Harris where the moss grows on its walls. She also sent in this close-up of a heron feeding in Florida on the La Chua Trail which is part of the Paynes Prairie State Preserve outside Gainesville in central Florida. It was taken during a drought that lowered lake levels to an extent that fish were plentiful and easy catches for the birds and thousands of alligators that inhabit the area.

Gordon Milne's Wreck at Corpach shows a much photographed scene. The low winter sunlight gives a warm glow to the picture highlighting both the boat and the buildings in the distance. His photograph of the frozen lochan at Glencoe is also a much captured view. The lochan was covered in a thick sheet of ice during the recent cold snap and the light picked out the scene perfectly.
