The home side were leapfrogged by Tain in the North Caledonian League table after the hosts lost to St Duthus’ Ross-shire rivals Invergordon last time out.
The winner of this encounter will almost certainly finish third in the table, an outcome which would reflect Fort’s exciting attacking football this season as well as their inconsistency in defence and squad selection.
The management team of Alan Gray and Darren Duncan will be hoping they can welcome back a full range of players after absences for various reasons.
Darren Quigg returns, but full back Kieran Lopez remains a doubt after a niggling injury flared up in the last match.
St Duthus will be looking to do the double over Fort William after their comprehensive 3-0 victory earlier in the season.
Assistant manager Darren Duncan said: “Hopefully we can take the positives from the second half of our match against Invergordon into our last game of the season at home to St Duthus, where we should have a lot of our regulars back.
“Martin Munro, Andy McLean, Logan Barker and Andy Martin - with potentially a few others – should return so, hopefully, we can end the season on a high.
“We know a win could see us finishing in third which would be a reasonable end in what has been a year of transition for the club. We know how tough it will be against a St Duthus team who have already beaten us this season and were excellent on the day.
“Hopefully we can get a good crowd to come and support the lads and hopefully see a decent end to the season.”
Kick-off at Claggan Park is 2pm.
