All council off-street pay and display parking will be free across Argyll and Bute in the countdown to Christmas.
The dates start on Wednesday December 11 and run up to and include Christmas Eve as part of ongoing measures from Argyll and Bute Council to support businesses, communities and the economy.
Policy Lead for Roads, Transport and Amenity Services Councillor John Armour, said: “We want to make it easier for folk to make the most of what our local shops have to offer – whether it’s gifts for the family or fantastic festive food.
"Our local independent businesses play a key role in providing employment and supporting the local economy. By providing free parking at this key time, we hope residents will continue to show their support and shop locally.
“We also recognise it can be a tough financial time for many, so we’re happy to make it as easy as possible for people to take advantage of everything that’s on offer in our towns.”
More information about car parks and parking is available on the council website.
