Gillian MacIntyre has stepped out on a sponsored walk to raise funds for the Kintyre Highlanders Group at Woodlands Resource Centre.
Along with key support worker Rhona McLean, Gillian raised a total of £130 for the social group, which caters for adults with learning disabilities, of which she is vice chairperson and a very dedicated member.
The purpose of the group is to allow the people supported at Woodlands to have autonomy over how the service is run, put forward their ideas and be involved in decision-making.
The group will meet to discuss how they would like to spend the money raised, and Gillian is already coming up with new ideas for future fundraising events for the group!
