The charitable organisation was set up by Campbeltown Community Council to disburse funds received as community benefit from Scottish Power Renewables' Beinn an Tuirc 3 wind farm.
During the most recent disbursement of funds, the total amount of payments awarded was £52,879.
The awards were: Campbeltown Picture House – £4,250; Kintyre Group Women’s Institute – £2,000; Campbeltown Running Club – £2,000; Machrihanish Airbase Community Company – £1,000; Kintyre Recycling Limited – £4,000; Dalintober Primary School PTA – £1,500; Dalintober Primary School PTA (swimming lessons) – £2,000; Campbeltown Former Pupils AFC – £5,000; Kintyre Seasports – £3,000; Dunaverty Golf Club junior section – £800; Campbeltown Community Council towards cost of restoring pathway between Trench Point and Slatyfarlan – £5,000; Kintyre Songwriters Festival – £500; Kintyre Food Bank – £5,000; Senior Citizens Monday Social Club – £2,000; Friends of Castlehill – £3,104; Mull of Kintyre Music and Arts Association – £4,725; Kintyre Fish Protection and Angling Club – £2,000; Mairi Semple Cancer Fund – £5,000.
'CCWF wishes all these groups success with their various projects and advises that a further disbursement of funds will take place in June 2023,' said a spokesperson.
'This will be advertised on our website, www.campbeltowncommunitycouncil.uk, on Facebook and in the Campbeltown Courier nearer the time.'
