Despite a grey, cool and breezy start, the day improved and for the majority of the round the competing ladies enjoyed sunny although at times windy conditions.
In the first group home, Mairi MacMillan set the pace with a nett 69 (+4).
However Lindsay Garrett, in the following group, bettered Mairi's score and carded a nett 68 (+3).
Katharine Hardman, in the final group, played a consistent game and despite the windy conditions came home with an impressive nett 64 (-1) and won the captain's prize in the Autumn Meeting.
Results: 1 Katharine Hardman nett 64 (-1); 2 Lindsay Garrett nett 68 (+3); 3 Mairi MacMillan nett 69 (+4). Lowest gross: Jennifer Mack 79.
The second round of the Glenadale Salver competition was played alongside the Autumn Meeting competition.
