The celebrities were in town filming an ITV programme called The Ultimate Road Trip.
They stayed in Oban's Royal Hotel on Wednesday night and were 'happily speaking to staff and guests and posing for photos'.
After chatting to the Royal's general manager' John Horne, Gordon Ramsay said: 'Oban is a truly stunning place.'
After stepping off the helicopter on Wednesday afternoon, the celebrity chef and television presenter said to his 4.4 million followers : 'Welcome to the beautiful, and I mean beautiful, Oban.'
Later in the evening, Gordon posted a video overlooking Oban's pontoons.
He said: 'OMFG this is a beautiful sunset at Oban, Bonnie Scotland. Seriously beautiful. I'm moving here.
Fred Sirieix, best known for his role on the Channel 4 programme First Dates, spotted the same sunset. He said: 'Beautiful Oban, look at that. OMG look at this sunset - amazing. How breathtaking is this?'
The trio were spotted filming at Seil yesterday (Thursday) morning, before heading back into town to visit Oban Distillery.
