After last Wednesday night's rally, a spokesperson for the Yes Lochaber independence campaign group gave their reaction to the Lochaber Times: 'We now know we are now second class citizens within this dysfunctional United Kingdom and we are only allowed 'democracy' if it is sanctioned by the Westminster establishment.
'The assurances made in 2014 that we would have the most powerful devolved parliament in the world if we voted 'no' now seems like a very empty promise.
'The people who attended our rally on Wednesday evening strongly reflected this in their mood, but they weren’t disheartened or depressed, rather the mood was positive and determined.
'I think Westminster is just about to find out what happens when Scotland is told, you can’t do that.'
