The big clean up is being organised as part of Adventure Oban's One Million Miles project and Covid-safe sized groups are being encouraged to sign up and take part.
Volunteers will be out and about litter-picking patches from the town's Sailing Club, round to Wee and Big Ganavan, out to Connel, the airport and further afield, says Ben Sunderland, who is one of the organisers.
Surfers Against Sewage is also supporting the litter-busting event by giving kit to help with the clean.
