Almost 500 beach cleans and 15,000 volunteers took part last year, lifting more than 305,000 items.
Here are some of the public events starting this week: Friday September 20 from 10.30am to noon on George Street, Oban, supporting the Global Climate Action.
On Saturday September 21 from 11am to 1pm there will be a beach clean along The Esplanade in the town centre.
At the same time, Scottish Sea Farms is organising a clean-up at Teithil Beach at Barcaldine and then on Sunday September 22 an event is being organised from the Creagan Inn, near Appin.
Mull is also having a beach clean on the Sunday from 1am to 4pm at The Corran, Knock Hatchery.
