The sun shone as Kildalloig House hosted its annual charity garden open day on Sunday July 21.
As well as exploring the marvellous garden filled with interesting and unusual shrubs including Australasian trees, climbing roses, and herbaceous perennials, visitors were able to enjoy a range of delicious home-baking.
Through entry fees and donations, almost £750 was raised, which has been donated to Macmillan Cancer Support.
Garden owner Mary Turner said: “Many many thanks to all who came and helped, and for all the delicious baking which was donated.”
During the open day, Leone Shaw Tulloch of LST Pilates held a ‘mindful movement’ session in exchange for donations for Campbeltown charity Shopper-Aide, which raised an additional £100.
“Thanks to all who joined me,” said Leone. “It’s just glorious to feel the earth under your feet and gently move your body with the rhythm of nature.”
