Organised by ABC Youth Services in celebration of the Year of Young People 2018, the Big Night Out was headlined by traditional band, Rhuvaal, who perform at top events throughout Scotland.
Other musical entertainment came from DJ Jamie G, Matt Mcallister and Kintyre Schools Pipe Band.
Youngsters flooded into the dance and partied with glow sticks, which were on sale alongside soft drinks and snacks.
The event was supported by NHS Highland, Machrihanish Airbase Community Company, Argyll and Bute Health and Wellbeing Network and Argyll and Bute Youth Forum.
Police Scotland youth engagement officer, PC Karen Cairns, attended the event and kept the youngsters in line alongside official door staff.
