The win came in the final match when tries from Megan Gaffney, Lisa Thomson, Rhona Lloyd and Helen, who also added three conversions, led to a 26-14 victory against Ireland.
Helen, from Glencoe, captained the squad who were invited to take part in the tournament following a successful season last year in the Rugby Europe Grand Prix season.
Commenting after the final game, Helen said: ‘It’s been a great weekend for us.
‘Some tough matches, but we’ve learnt a lot and have improved over the weekend.
‘To get a win in our final game against Ireland shows a lot of character and fight in the squad. We’ve all had a great weekend.’
On day one, the Scots were well beaten by New Zealand in their competition opener, losing 44-7, before recovering to draw 24-24 with England then losing 31-15 to Russia.
‘It was an amazing experience to test ourselves at the highest level,’ said Oban’s Abi Evans.
‘I feel like I’ve gained a lot of experience and we got to see how much potential we have as a squad. I am very excited for the future.
