The supermarket chain is collaborating with Dr Bike mechanics to hold a bike A&E on Thursday July 6.
People wanting to get their bikes back into shape, or receive advice and safety tips, are invited to the Camanachd Crescent store's car park between noon and 4pm.
Services the mechanics will be offering in their special marquee include tightening headsets, adjusting gears, and replacing worn brake pads and brake and gear cables.
For bikes requiring more serious surgery, customers will be given a 'Dr's Note' outlining what needs done to get the bike back to its best.
The supermarket itself will be using its famous middle aisle to stock bike accessories, such as lights, stands, and tool kits.
Trudy Lindblade, CEO of the 2023 UCI Cycling World Championships said: “The 2023 UCI Cycling World Championships is an opportunity for people to embrace the power of the bike in their everyday lives.
"We encourage as many people as possible to support Lidl’s free bike health check initiative to ensure your bike is safe to ride to enjoy all the benefits cycling can bring, such as improved health and wellbeing."
