This time the event returns in October as a winter celebration of music and storytelling.
From October to March, on the first Sunday of every month, there will be an evening of entertainment at the island's Heritage Centre.
The cafe will be open before and after each event for meals and drinks.
Lismore's first Taproot festival in 2017 evolved from a book week which took place annually and had the aim of celebrating the rich mix of performance art and culture, and its intertwining with Scottish Gaelic history, literature and music.
Past festivals have featured the likes of Lismore's own musician and theatre-maker Mairi Campbell, journalist, author, broadcaster and land-reform campaigner Lesley Riddoch and Luing writer and poet Norman Bissell.
More details on this year's taproot event are coming soon.
