A hat trick by Ruaridh ‘Pigeon’ MacDonald was one of a number of stand-out performances as Fort William Reserves beat Kyleakin 7-0 in West Highland Amateur League.
‘Pigeon’ has been a huge boost for Fort William in recent weeks, grabbing a pair last time out and leading the line well.
What allowed the young Fort William team of fledglings to really fly on Friday evening was veterans Dave Forbes - two goals - and bustling Davie Neil - one strike - both contributing to the resounding win.
One of the fledglings, Kadyn Campbell, also scored. This was his second in as many games showing the potential packed under the protective wings of manager Scott Duncan.
Fort William Reserves are back in action this Friday, July 19, at home to Portree Juniors at Lochaber High School astro at 7pm.
