A 34-year-old man has been arrested after a weapon and drugs were allegedly found on Glencruitten Golf Course earlier this month.
Officers were called to the club near Oban on the evening of April 3, with witnesses at the time describing a major police presence, with two vehicles on the scene for several hours.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said today: “At around 6.30pm on Wednesday, 3 April, 2024, we received a report of a weapon and drugs being found on a golf course in Oban.
"A 34-year-old man has now been arrested and enquiries are ongoing.”
The weapon is understood to have been an air rifle.
