Police have dealt with a variety of incidents in the last week - including an alleged attack in the centre of Oban.
Assault
About 11.30pm on Tuesday March 18, officers were called to a report of an alleged assault on the High Street in Oban. A male was subsequently traced and apprehended. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
Urinate in public
About 12.05am March 15 on George Street in Oban, police on patrol observed a 28-year-old male urinating in public. He was warned regarding his conduct and issued with a £40 fixed penalty notice.
Dangerous Driving
Between 1pm and 1.30pm on March 11 on the A85 near to the BP filling station in Dunbeg, police received a report of a Silver MG motor car driving in a dangerous manner. Officers are still investigating the matter and ask anyone with any dash cam footage or information to contact them via 101, anonymously through Crimestoppers online or by calling 0800 555 111 or via the ‘Contact Us’ form on Police Scotland’s website.
