Mid Argyll youngsters had a wonderful time at Oban Mod on Friday May 31 when they took part in the children’s competitions.
The afternoon saw competitors Carly Cranston and Sophie Phillips compete in the solo singing learners aged 11-12 years category.
Both girls performed beautifully and the afternoon saw Carly Cranston’s haunting performance deservedly win the silver badge.
At the same time in the Corran Halls Studio Theatre, Feorlin Renton was delighted to attain the gold badge in the girls’ 13-15 open competition for both learners and fluent singers.
Parent Margaret Renton told the Advertiser: "All of this wouldn’t be possible without their dedicated and very wonderful singing teachers Josie Campbell and Christine Johnston, their ’Gaelic Grannies’."
