The route was 12 laps of a fast, flat circuit, totalling 55 miles.
Despite a terrible forecast, the weather was kind to the riders but the timing chip system went down on the day which meant only the top ten men and women got a confirmed result.
This was Andre's first road race and he performed really well with an average speed of 25mph, finishing just outside the top ten. Nick also performed well after maintaining a healthy speed for a few solo laps. Shona was placed fifth woman and second category 4 female.
