Cuan Mor on George Street has been closed as a sit-in restaurant since lockdown restrictions were brought in at the end of March.
But from Thursday to Sunday it will offer takeaway and delivery services between 5-9pm, with phone lines for orders opening from 3pm on those days only.
Its menu includes enchiladas, rustic bacon cheese burgers, grilled haddock, Scottish steak and ale pie, macaroni cheese and kids meals including chicken nuggets and chips.
It plans to deliver in and around Oban for a £4 delivery charge. It will deliver to Dunbeg for a £5 charge.
Anyone wanting food beyond these areas can collect from the restaurant as takeaway only, it said.
Strict social distancing guidelines are being observed, it said.
Andy Spence, chief executive of the Bid4Oban group, welcomed today's announcement.
He said local takeaways and restaurants had responded well to the changing environment brought about by lockdown.
Mr Spence said: 'Obviously we are very happy to see another business in Oban reopening and hopefully it's the first of many.'
Special guidance has been drawn-up for businesses reopening with advice from Scottish Government, Health Protection Scotland, NHS Inform, Gov.uk and the Food Standards Scotland.
