Oban Lorne Rugby Football Club’s Under 16s star Josh Olds continues to impress as he works towards a career in the sport.
Along with Oban Lorne teammate Jake Jevons, the 14-year-old was selected to attend the Glasgow and the West Regional Rugby Academy over the summer and the National Under 16s Development Day at Murrayfield Stadium on Monday August 12.
Josh was one of 11 boys selected from Glasgow and the West to attend Murrayfield along with other players from Edinburgh, Caledonia and Borders regional academies.
Having started playing with Oban Lorne Minis aged six, Josh now plays for Oban High School, Oban Lorne Under 16s and Glasgow and the West, with whom he has been vice captain for the past season.
Being selected as vice captain and the development day at Murrayfield have been two of his rugby highlights to date.
