Two men allegedly stole a television from Tesco, Lochside Street, Oban on Monday October 11. They left the store carrying the television before dropping it and making off. Enquiries continue.
Theft
Between Thursday September 2 and Thursday October 7 at United Auctions, Oban, a padlock securing a shipping container was damaged with the intent to steal items inside.
Vandalism
The rear window of an unattended parked car is alleged to have been smashed at an address in Dalavich between noon on Wednesday September 29 and 4pm on Sunday October 10.
Theft
Between 10am and 9.30pm on Sunday October 10 near Inveroran Hotel, Bridge of Orchy, a tent containing sleeping bags and a camping stove were stolen. Police are appealing for any information.
Trespass
Between 9.30am on Thursday October 7 and 9pm on Saturday October 9 someone forced entry to a property on Tweedale Street, Oban, thereafter sleeping in a bed and using the toilet. Enquiries continue.
Police warning
At 10.30pm on Saturday October 9 at George Street, Oban, police saw a 23-year-old man acting in a threatening manner. He was arrested and subsequently issued a Recorded Police Warning.
Fail to stop
At 11.50am on Thursday October 14 on the A85 at Bridge of Awe, a campervan travelling north is alleged to have struck a passing vehicle travelling south, causing damage to a wing mirror. The driver of the campervan failed to stop and provide relevant details or report the accident. Enquiries continue.
