A Campbeltown man who was reported missing has been found safe and well.
Police asked for the public’s help to trace Christopher Corkindale after he went missing from Albyn Avenue.
Officers said the 38-year-old was last seen around 12.30am yesterday in the town’s Ralston Road - but today revealed that he had been traced after an extensive media appeal.
In an update this morning, a police spokesperson said: "We are pleased to confirm that Christopher Corkindale, who was reported missing from the Campbeltown area, has been located. He is safe and well.
"Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal."
