Police are seeking an arsonist after a spate of fires within the public toilets on Campbeltown’s Bolgam Street.
The first incident of wilful fire-raising occurred between 7.30am and 5.30pm on Wednesday February 28, with the second and third taking place on Monday March 11 between noon and 5.30pm.
The toilets were also damaged on Tuesday February 6 between 7.30am and 5.30pm.
“It’s vital we find out who is responsible for these incidents, which are extremely reckless and resulted in damage to a public resource,” said Constable Sharon Carr.
“This behaviour demonstrates a total disregard for members of the public who use these facilities and the staff who are responsible for cleaning them.
