The youngsters honed their skills on the pitch instead of the classroom as it was an in-service day, so only teachers were in school.
First team manager Alan Gray was joined by new chairman Rob Coull, who dusted off his boots and took the sessions, assisted by first team player Muller, Inverness Caledonian Thistle under 18s player Ben Corner and High Life Highland Leadership Programme young leaders Liam Donaldson of Ross County under 14s and Fort William under 14 players Nathan and Archie.
The day included fun football games, close control skills and other activities. The P4-7 participants were given a Fort William Football Club bobble hat for attending.

Chairman Robert Coull said: “I was blown away by the turnout and the high quality of skills and performance of the children in all the age groups.
“The community needs football for these age groups and it is the club's vision to work closely with the youth committee to achieve this at all levels with a clear path from primary school age to the first team.
“It is important the children become part of the Fort William Football Club family, helping to master football skills and develop as responsible individuals.

“It's an exciting time for the club, with positive results on the pitch. The girls team that has started training has talented players who are being coached by Roman Kondziela and Sarah Riddle.
“There is a real good feel factor at the club just now and we need the continued support of the community and businesses behind us as we approach our 50th anniversary next year. We hope to share these plans with you soon.”
