A team of aspiring firefighters had some hands-on fun last week when volunteers from their local community fire station popped round for a visit.
Children at MAKI Pups outdoor nursery have been learning about all the emergency services and, as a special treat, the nursery staff decided to arrange a surprise visit from Lochgilphead Community Fire Station.
“We definitely have some future firefighters,” a spokesperson for the nursery said. “Thank you to Adam, Duncan, Duncan and George who came along to see us.”
The children were given a genuine taste of the training they could get as real firefighters, using the hose, sitting in the fire engine and even trying on the uniform.
