While Armistice Day, November 11, falls on a Monday this year, services and most wreath-laying will take place in Mid Argyll on Remembrance Sunday, November 10.
Lochgilphead Parish Church will be holding a service starting at 9.45am before a march down to the war memorial on the Front Green in time for the 11am two minutes’ silence.
In Tarbert there will be a muster at the fish quay at 10.30am before moving to the war memorial for a service at 10.45am, including a lone piper and bugler and the two minutes’ silence.
In Inveraray, members of the Royal British Legion Scotland will be meeting at the church hall at 10.30am before heading for the war memorial for 11am.
Wreaths will also be laid at Argyll Caravan park at 1.30pm and Furnace War Memorial at 2.30pm.
On Armistice Day, Monday, the RBLS Inveraray will be meeting at the Inveraray Inn at 10.45am before marching to the memorial for 11am.
