Night time resurfacing starts on the A85 east of Lochawe on Monday February 10 for one week.
The work is being carried out by BEAR Scotland on behalf of Transport Scotland and will take place between 7pm and 5am each night - but there will be no work on the Friday and Saturday nights.
During the road closures, there will be some timed access for vehicles to be escorted safely through the site at 8pm, 9pm, 10pm, 11pm, midnight, 2am and 4am. Anyone not wanting to wait will have to take a diversion via the A82 and A828.
Emergency vehicles and scheduled bus services will be able to get through for the full duration of the works.
When the night closures are not in place, there will be a 30mph limit for all traffic because of a temporary surface.
The closure schedule is 7pm on February 10 until 5am on Wednesday February 12 at the A85 east of B8077 Stronmilchan Junction then from 7pm on February 12 until 5am on February 17 just east of Lochawe village.
Ian Stewart, BEAR Scotland’s North West Representative, said “These essential resurfacing works will upgrade the existing road surface, greatly improving the quality and safety for road users as well as upgrading road markings to enhance road safety. We thank motorists for their patience ahead of these road improvements.”
