Arrangements for this year's event are well under way, says Lorn Agricultural Society show secretary Fiona Dickie.
All the usual events will be taking place including pets corner, home industries, classic cars and a sandcastle competition for youngsters.
There is no horticultural section this year and the dog show will now start at 11am on the day, with registration between 10am and 10.45am.
The dog agility show is being organised by Rachel and Megan Carre and there will be a Highland dancing display by Laura Munro Dancers and an Irish Dancing Display by Shovenne Yardley Dancers. Music will be provided by Oban High School Pipe Band.
