Oban Saints get back to action on Saturday when they take on high-flying Castlemilk Community FC in a Scottish Premier AFA league encounter.
The game will take place at Glencruitten with a 2pm kick-off. Referee in charge is Jimmy Litster.
The D&K Lafferty Contractors and MKM Building Supplies-sponsored team have been idle for the last two Saturday’s due to cup fixtures involving other teams in the league, but they are raring to get back onto the pitch in what will be a difficult fixture against one of the favourites to lift the Scottish Premier AFA Premier Division league title.
Manager Ross Maitland will be hoping to have a full squad available for selection for this important game.
Congratulations to Saints striker Connor Moore who was picked to play for the Scottish Premier AFL Select for the Inter League Trophy match against Fife Sunday League at New Tinto Park, home of Benburb Junior FC last Sunday.
Connor was on from the start of the match and helped to set up two goals in an impressive 8-0 win for the Scottish Premier AFA who now await to see who they get in the semi-final of the competition.
